“…The lowest concentrations are registered in LEP, while the highest ones in ASO, coinciding in time, i.e., the highest concentration (91.9 µg m −3 and 83.6 µg m −3 ) at 17:00 UTC, and the lowest (32.0 µg m −3 and 20.8 µg m −3 ) in the early morning at 9:00 UTC, around sunrise. Differences in the intensity of the daily values observed between both stations reflect the combination of different factors, such as the precursor emissions, and chemical and physical processes [ 29 , 30 ]. In this sense, differences in the urban environment ( Section 2 ) influence the intensity of the minimum concentrations, for instance, favouring reactions between O 3 and NO 2 , which results the formation of dinitrogen pentoxide (N 2 O 5 ) and nitric acid (HNO 3 ) [ 31 ].…”

“…Después de algo más de un año de medidas continuadas en la torre (diciembre de 2021-diciembre de 2022), en la primera quincena de enero de 2023 el instrumento fue enviado al ATC (Francia) para conseguir superar el proceso de certificación del instrumento, el cual espera ser completado a lo largo de 2023. Desde principios de 2023, se está en proceso de análisis y posterior publicación del primer año de medidas en la torre [11].…”

“…High concentrations of ozone near the surface can be harmful to humans, animals, crops, and other organisms and materials [2][3][4]. Surface ozone is created through the photochemical interactions of man-made (and natural) emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), nitrogen oxides (NOx), methane (CH4), and free radicals (HOx = OH + HO2 + RO2) in the presence of heat and sunlight [5]. In recent years, ozone pollution, which has attracted extensive attention, has become an important subject and challenge in the prevention and control of atmospheric environmental pollution.…”

“…With the decrease in PM 2. 5 , surface ozone has now become a serious environmental pollutant in many cities in China [6]. The Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan (BJ-TJ-TS) urban agglomeration region, as one of the four industrial bases in China and one of the country's largest, most densely populated, and most economically developed urban agglomerations, is experiencing increasingly serious ozone pollution.…”
