Abstract: Purpose The purpose of this paper is to deal with the need for Egyptian ICT companies to adopt high performance practices in order to be able to contribute more to the development of Egypt. However, as not much research has been done into management practices which can support these organizations in the Egyptian context, a framework which was developed based on Western and non-Western data – the high performance organization (HPO) framework – was tested on its suitability in the Egyptian context. “…Upon the results of the analysis, the hypothesis (H5; H6; and H7) is stated to be accepted. The results we found can also support previous findings (Waal, Habil, & Goedegebuure, 2016;and Periáñez-Cañadillas, 2019). Table 2 is the result of analysis of indirect influence between three exogeneous variables with one indogeneus variable, or in other words is the influence of exogeneus variables on endogenbeus variables through mediating variables (job satisfaction).…”

“…The HPO framework has been shown to have high internal consistency and its five subscales have been validated repeatedly (e.g. de Waal et al , 2016; Sultan et al , 2017). On this basis, it was decided to average the relevant items into the original five subscales, instead of performing exploratory factor analysis (EFA).…”

“…In the last five years, de Waal continued to conduct a variety of studies to evaluate the effects of the HPO framework in practice. One published in 2016 examined the suitability of the framework in information and communications technology companies in Egypt (de Waal et al, 2016). Five 2017 studies validating the HPO framework were conducted in Dutch supermarket ; in Dutch agricultural sector (de Waal and Meingast, 2017); in Chinese state-owned enterprises (de Waal and Wang, 2017); in North America (de Waal, 2017a); and in a social care and rehabilitation organization in the Netherlands (de Waal, 2017b).…”
