“…Orbital inflammation with proptosis (Rouhiainen 1989) and exophthalmos with conjunctival chemosis, restricted motility and reduced visual acuity (Yamagami et al 1991) have been described but the pathogenesis was unclear in both cases. One patient was reported where infiltration of the retina, choroid and optic nerve by myelocytic and lymphocytic cells caused acute angle-closure glaucoma (Wohlrab et al 1995). Obviously, a variety of other symptoms can occur when there is leukemic infiltration of ocular structures.…”
