“…The most common symptoms were exertional dyspnea and palpition though the spectrum of symptoms were quite variable, including sudden death, syncope, cardiac tamponade, arrhythmias, abdominal ab-normal bleeding, and massive ascites. 8 According to literature, more than half (57.1%) of patients had a hysterectomy and the median interval between the hysterectomy and the diagnosis of IVL with cardiac involvement was 4 years. 3 In the present study, 70% patients had a hysterectomy with diagnosis of hysteromyoma and the median interval was 3.4 years, which illustrate the silent and slow-growing characteristics of this benign smooth muscle tumor with semimalignant behavior.…”
