Substantiation of the intensified dump reclamation in the process of field development

Abstract: Purpose is to substantiate intensification of dozer dump reclamation in the process of open pit-mining. Methods. Analysis of methods intended to intensify reclamation activities in the context of open-pit mineral extraction under different mining and geological conditions has been applied. Innovative operation schedule of dump reclamation has been developed on the basis of critical analysis and proper analytical research. Findings. Operation schedule to form a dozer dump has been substantiated taking into cons… Show more

“…The main ones are rhizofiltration (roots absorb water and chemical elements necessary for the vital activity of plants); phytoextraction (accumulation of dangerous pollutants in the plant body (for example, heavy metals)); phytovolatilization (evaporation of water and volatile chemical elements (As, Se) by plant leaves); Phyto stabilization (conversion of chemical compounds into a less mobile and active form (which reduces the risks of contamination spread)); phytodegradation (degradation by plants and symbiotic microorganisms of the organic part of pollutants) and Phyto stimulation (stimulation of the development of symbiotic microorganisms involved in the process of cleaning soil). The results of the study are presented in subsequent papers (Valiyev et al, 2018;Bulaev et al, 2019;Kalybekov et al, 2020).…”

“…The coal gasification process occurs with a variation of blowing mixtures, supplied from an oxygen cylinder (7), a compressor (8) and a steam generator (9), respectively, through oxygen (III), air (IV) and steam (V) pipelines, through an automated system for metering the blowing mixture consumption (6), through the pipeline for supplying the blowing mixture at the "well -gas generator" technology (I) to the blowing reagents distributor (10), and further to the reaction channel (16). In this case, blowing pipeline valve ( 12) is open, and the gas discharging pipeline valve ( 15) is closed.…”

“…In fact, due to the lost access to the main oil and gas fields on the Black Se a shelf and a significant part of the coal deposits in the Eastern Donbass, restructuring of mines and reducing the cost of produced coal is an extremely urgent and strategic task. The mining industry prospective development is impossible without the introduction of innovative technical and technological solutions: modern approach for mining field planning [3][4][5] backfilling of gob area [6][7][8][9], reclamation and recultivation processes [10][11][12], control of mine ventilation [13][14][15], geomechanical stydy of rock mass behaviour based on rock properties stydy [16][17][18][19], ecological and environmental management [20,21].…”

“…The development of deep open mines in Ukraine is accompanied by the placement of overburden rocks in external dumps. Issues of dump formation have been considered in various scientific papers [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]. The volume of the overburden rocks extraction of and their storage in the external dump directly depends on the productivity of the open mine where minerals are extracted [9][10][11][12][13][14][15][16][17].…”
