In this study, three sublethal concentrations (LC5, LC15, and LC25) of Envidor®speed (Abamectin and Spirodiclofen mixture, 24% SC, Bayer co.) on the biological parameters of the predatory mite Amblyseius swirskii Athias-Heneroit (Acari: Phytoseiidae) fed on Tetranychus urticae Koch (Acari: Tetranychidae) was assessed based on the Two-sex life table theory under laboratory conditions (25 ± 1°C, 70 ± 5% RH and 16:8 (L: D) hours). The data were analyzed based on a two-sex life table procedure. Increasing the sublethal concentration did have a significant effect on some life table parameters. The total lifespan of both males and females treated mites had a decreasing trend, for the females, it increased from 22.10 days in LC25 treatment to 42.67 days in control. The oviposition days of the predatory mite had the most differences between the LC15 and LC25 treatments compared to LC5 and control. Based on our results, the total fecundity is also affected by the acaricidal doses, which changed from 19.10 eggs per individual in LC25 to 37.17 eggs per individual in control. The net reproductive rate (R0), as well as the gross reproductive rate (GRR), were all significantly reduced with increasing the acaricide concentration. The control treatment had the maximum value, and the higher concentration treatment (LC25) had the slowest value of R0 and GRR. On the contrary, the intrinsic rate of increase (r) and finite rate of increase (λ) showed no significant differences with the increasing concentration of acaricide from the control to LC25 treatments. Eventually, with due attention to the large range value of each LCs for predatory mites concerning recommended concentration for T. urticae based on the active ingredient, the recommended concentration of Envidorspeed in IPM programs is unobstructed.

T. urticae control has been largely based on the utilization of acaricides. Sublethal effects of Romectin gold 32.8% SC (Abamectin 2.8% + Imidaclopride 30%) and AgriFlix 18.56% SC (Thiamethoxam 15.24% + Abamectin 3.23%) were studied on toxicity index and life-table parameters of T. urticae. LC25 concentration of Romectin gold and AgriFlix that were 0.0019 and 0.013 ppm, respectively, were utilized for sublethal studies. All acaricides showed a significant effect on T. urticae. Results obtained indicated that Romectin gold was the compound that had the higher effect on adult females of T. urticae and its predatory mite P. persimilis than AgriFlix. Sublethal concentrations of Romectin gold and AgriFlix may influence the durability of pre-adult stages, longevity, and biological parameters of T. urticae. The duration of life cycle of both females and males decreased significantly compared to the control with no significant effect between the two tested compounds. At the same time, Romectin gold produced the highest life cycle and life span. AgriFlix significantly decreased the pre-oviposition period with the lowest time of 1.10 days compared with 2.00 days for the control. To the contrary, Romectin gold had no significant effect on the preoviposition period. On the other hand, treatments with both Romectin gold and AgriFlix decreased significantly the oviposition period compared with the control. Romectin gold and AgriFlix significantly reduced the total number of eggs produced per female. AgriFlix acaricide decreased the total number and the daily rate of eggs produced by 73.36 and 65.05%, respectively. Results showed that exposure of females to sublethal concentrations of Romectin gold and AgriFlix reduced the net reproductive rate (R0), while intrinsic rate (rm) was increased compared to the control. Similarly, the finite rate of increase (exprm) for the control was significantly higher than that for Romectin gold and AgriFlix. Additionally, it was found that mean generation time (T) of the control was significantly shorter than that of Romectin gold and AgriFlix. A kémiai módszereken alapuló növényvédelem napjainkban meghatározó a mezőgazdasági gyakorlatban, ezért a környezetbe kijuttatott peszticidek hatásának vizsgálata nem célfajokra rendkívül fontos. Ennek megfelelően a hazai szőlőművelésben gyakran alkalmazott Quadris (azoxistrobin) fungicid és Flumite 200 (flufenzin) akaricid televényférgekre gyakorolt hatását vizsgáltuk önmagukban, illetve keverékként. Terepi mintavételre a növényvédőszerek kijuttatása előtt és után került sor. OECD szabványok alapján elkerülési viselkedésen alapuló teszteket végeztünk Enchytraeus albidus televényféreg fajon. Egyes koncentrációknál a kísérleti állatok elkerülő viselkedést mutattak, ugyanakkor ezek a javasolt kijuttatási értékeknél több nagyságrenddel magasabbak voltak. Ezen eredményeink alapján a vizsgált két növényvédőszert az Enchytraeus albidus faj egyedei képesek érzékelni és elkerülni, így előírásszerű alkalmazás esetén az általunk vizsgált növényvédőszerek nem jelentenek jelentős környezettoxikológiai kockázatot a televényférgekre.
