Study on Void Fraction Measurement of Cryogenic Two-Phase Flow by Image Analysis

Abstract: The hypersonic air-breathing engine, which is currently under development by Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), uses liquid hydrogen as the fuel. In order to accurately control the fuel flow rate during the start-up, it is essential to measure the heat transfer and pressure drop of the two phase flow.
