Study on the promotion of creating river terrace as public space

Abstract: The propose of this paper is to clarify the way of establishment and activities, the case study is the pilot program in Kiyosumishirakawa, Koto Ward in Tokyo, in order to understand how to promote river terrace as public space . The conclusions are following 4 points. 1) Cases of Kawa-terrace are different in standard building code.
