Study on the Novel Fabrication Method of Highly Birefringent Photonic Crystal Fiber

We fabricate highly birefringent photonic crystal fiber with new structure using a stack and draw method. Fabricated fiber has two big air holes, one at each side of the outside air cladding region, leading to core ellipticity during the drawing process.
