Study on the Influence of Light Intensity on the Performance of Solar Cell

Abstract: In order to solve the problem that the influence of light intensity on solar cells is easily affected by the complexity of photovoltaic cell parameters in the past, it is proposed based on the influence of light intensity on the power generation performance of solar cells. By analyzing the electrical performance parameters of photovoltaic cell trough solar energy and determining the influencing factors, discarding other weakly related parameters, and designing targeted research programs, according to the study… Show more

“…All of the solar cell alone signals were generated by directly measuring X‐rays, whereas most of the STFSC‐SS signals were generated by measuring scintillation. The results of the previous study showed that as the light intensity increased, the power generation efficiency of photovoltaic cells did not increase linearly but saturated 36 . Therefore, when a solar cell is exposed to a higher visible light intensity, the measurement efficiency of solar cell is decreased.…”

“…The results of the previous study showed that as the light intensity increased, the power generation efficiency of photovoltaic cells did not increase linearly but saturated. 36 Therefore, when a solar cell is exposed to a higher visible light intensity, the measurement efficiency of solar cell is decreased. This is estimated as the reason that the signal of STFSC-SS decreases as the dose rate increases while no significant difference between the signals measured using the solar cell and scintillator screen.…”

“…When a solar cell is heated, the current, Isc, increases while the voltage, Voc, decreases. The voltage reductions faster than the current increases so the efficiency drives down [30]. The highest average total energy ANN's prediction value for 12 inputs is on March 2020 which is the value 51600000Wh while the lowest total of energy production is on November2020 which is 38560000Wh.Fig.…”

“…The significant influence of the spectral splitting management on PV performance can be seen in this figure. The parts of the solar spectrum with shorter or longer wavelengths than visible light are not favorable for the PV cell [34]. These parts of the spectrum are converted into heat and decrease the performance of the PV.…”
