“…To address the above-mentioned limitation, various M x O y (including ZrO 2 and Al 2 O 3 ) have been studied in the synthesis of composite solid acid SO 4 2– /TiO 2 -M x O y catalysts. CoAl 2 O 4 metal oxide was synthesized and incorporated with titanium, which improved catalytic activity and structural stability in solketal synthesis. It is found that CoAl 2 O 4 oxide acts as an M x O y to synthesize the SO 4 2– /TiO 2 -M x O y type composite, which improves the catalytic activity, thermal stability, and acidic properties. No reports have been found on the efficient synthesis of the SO 4 2– /CoAl 2 O 4 -TiO 2 solid acid catalyst and its catalytic application in glycerol acetalization.…”
