Credit loans among MSMEs are beneficial for business sustainability. The quality of a credit loan is a concern to avoid default, so the topic of loan repayment performance is interesting to explore. This study summarizes and analyzes several previous studies related to the topic of the influence of financial literacy on business performance among MSMEs, as well as the influence of financial literacy on loan repayment performance. Based on a literature study conducted, financial literacy was found to have a significant influence on business performance and loan repayment performance among MSMEs. This study found gaps in previous research, there are still limited studies that provide a comprehensive framework explaining how financial literacy influences loan repayment performance directly or through business performance variables. Therefore, it is important to research further, how an MSME manager who accesses credit to run his business can achieve optimal business performance, where the results will be used for loan repayment. This research proposes business performance as a mediating variable that could be considered in future research. Keywords: financial literacy, business performance, loan repayment performance

Village expenditures are still focused on the development of basic infrastructures, even though there are other potential investments in villages through the development of rural industries that are resistant to crises and have an impact on the community's economy. The development of this potential can be done by combining village expenditures with social capital, in the form of mutual assistance and cooperatives, which exist in the village. This study aims to determine the relationship between village expenditures and social capital with rural industries. The research data is in the form of cross-sectional data, from the Ministry of Villages and Podes 2018, and processed with OLS. The findings of this study include: 1) community empowerment expenditure, and social capital have a positive and significant relationship to rural industries; and 2) the expenditure's allocation that is devoted to the needs of village industries also increases the number of micro and small enterprises in the village. The improvement of rural industries can be encouraged through adjustments in the field of expenditures, expenditures efficiency, and special allocations for industrial needs. On the other hand, the village government needs to collaborate with business actors in building and empowering village industries as well as playing an active role in the maintenance and development of mutual cooperation and cooperatives in their area. Further studies are recommended to use the amount or ratio of expenditure for the benefit of rural industries..

Entrepreneurship is seen as a driving force for economic development and job creation. Hence, the government offers different forms of support to entrepreneurs. Many researchers have examined the effectiveness of government support. However, the question of how small-scale entrepreneurs perceive government assistance remains unanswered. The study seeks to assess the perception of small-scale entrepreneurs towards government support and also tries to explore some underlying factors pertaining to government support towards entrepreneurship development in Uttarakhand. The study is based on primary data collected from 240 small-scale entrepreneurs, using a self-structured questionnaire. Descriptive statistics and principal component analysis (PCA) were used to interpret the results. It has been found that small-scale entrepreneurs have a positive perception towards single window clearance system, investment promotion facility centre and timelines for business approvals. The study further found that small-scale entrepreneurs have a negative perception towards the interest rate, transparency in loan sanctioning and the behaviour of the employees of financial institutions. The study also extracted three important factors from PCA and named them as an online support system, transparency and financial support.
