Abstract: Background: Fallopian tubes are affected by a wide spectrum of diseases varying from salpingitis to carcinoma. Most pathological processes involving the fallopian tube are inflammatory and are of clinical significance because they interfere with the function of the fallopian tube and result in infertility.
