“…Adding calcium-based compounds during solid fuel incineration will help to reduce the emission of SO 2 Moreover, the sulfur in the fuel can react with CaO and form CaSO 4 , which reduces the emission of sulfur oxides and CaO can provide a chemical adsorption site for heavy metals in fuels and stabilize heavy metals.
