Study of CystatinC as Early Biomarker of Nephropathy in Patients with Type 2 DM and Risk Stratification in TarnakaHospital of Hyderabad City in India

Abstract: This study was done to evaluate clinical usefulness of cystatin C levels of serum and urine in predicting renal impairment in normoalbuminuric patients with type 2 diabetes and to evaluate the association between albuminuria and serum/urine cystatin C. Type 2 diabetic patients (n = 200) with normoalbuminuria (n = 45), microalbuminuria (n = 83) and macroalbuminuria (n = 42) were enrolled. Creatinine, urinary albumin levels, serum/urine cystatin C and estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR by MDRD (Modificat… Show more

“…It was concluded from the current study that supplementation The results of the current study showed that supplementation of eugenol and vitamin C as an antioxidant in an aqueous extract of the plant can affect the parameters of sperm motility and enhance the quality of cryopreserved sperm in the integrity of the plasma membrane, the integrity of the acrosome membrane, and potential markers of the mitochondrial membrane in comparison with the control group in particular. In the presence of eugenol, it is soluble in water (24,25,26) while vitamin E is a fat-soluble substance (27).…”

“…Toxoplasma.gondii is of a high prevalence world wiled because of contaminated food and water with oocyst from feline feces, in Southern Brazil, about (70%) of sheep contaminated with T.gondii [11,12]. Cats play a vital role in the transmission of the parasite, infection is high prevalence in area with highest number of cats.…”

“…The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) count on pharmacokinetic evidence to conclude that rodent toxicity data are not directly relevant to human risk assessment. Further, the EFSA debate that rapid metabolism will result in negligible exposure during the perinatal period because of BPA glucuronidation in pregnant women or sulfation in newborns [37]. These causes fail to consider the deconjugation of BPA glucuronide in utero by ß-glucuronidase, an enzyme that is present in high concentrations in placenta and various other tissues.…”
