Abstract: Background: The Cronobacter genus is a member family of the Enterobacteriaceae The isolates of C. sakazakii have been suggested to be responsible for fatal neonatal infections, which gives rise to sepsis, necrotizing enterocolitis, and meningitis, with a high mortality rates.
