Zusammenfassung Der Pankreas spielt eine zentrale Rolle bei den Verdauungsprozessen. Der Pankreassaft kontrolliert den pH‐Wert im Duodenum (Pufferkapazität) und enthält Verdauungsenzyme, deren Aktivitäten sich an die Nahrungszusammensetzung anpassen. Die altersabhängigen Unterschiede des Pankreassaftes sind vor allem im Hinblick auf die Entwicklung von Rationen für frühabgesetzte Ferkel von Bedeutung. In der vorliegenden Arbeit werden Angaben über die Enzymaktivitäten im Pankreassaft in Abhängigkeit von Alter und Ration gemacht und Adaptationsmöglichkeiten diskutiert.

In 1905, the embryologist John Beard first proposed that pancreatic proteolytic enzymes had potential as a treatment for cancer. His theories were dismissed by the medical world a decade later, but various practitioners have kept the concept alive through the publication of case reports of cancer patients treated with pancreatic proteolytic enzymes. In the last 2 decades, studies of the role of proteases in physiology have made it clear that they do more than digest food. This article reviews the history of the clinical use of pancreatic proteolytic enzymes in cancer treatment, and recent research on protease activated receptors and their role in cancer.

Мета дослідження: підтвердження ефективності та безпе ки застосування зареєстрованого в Україні лікарського за собу Фестал НЕО 10 000 у пацієнтів з хронічним панкреа титом (ХП) у порівнянні з Мезим форте 10 000 на тлі стан дартної комплексної терапії ХП. Матеріали та методи. Досліджувана популяціяпацієнти з ХП, що супроводжується клініко лабораторни ми проявами зовнішньосекреторної недостатності підшлункової залози, які перебували на амбулаторному чи стаціонарному лікуванні у клініках залучених центрів дослідження. Загальна кількість пацієнтів склала 206 осіб віком від 20 до 65 років, чоловіків і жінок було 96 і 110 відповідно. Пацієнти були розподілені методом простої рандомізації на групи А (n=103) і В (n=103). Результати. Для того, щоб зробити висновок щодо тера певтичної еквівалентності препаратів, було проаналізовано вираженість змін між Візитом № 1 та Візитом № 3 у групах А та В за первинними і вторинними кінцевими змінними ефективності та встановлено, що достовірно значущі відмінності між групами А та В відсутні. Це свідчить про те, що досліджувані препарати є терапевтично еквівалентними. Заключення. Встановлено, що досліджуваний препарат Фестал НЕО 10 000 та препарат порівняння (Мезим форте 10 000) добре переносяться хворими, не спричинюють серйозних побічних реакцій. Проведений аналіз довів відсутність залежності ефективності та переносимості пре паратів від віку, статі та тривалості захворювання.
