Studies on Infection and Immunity in Experimental Typhoid Fever

Abstract: A disease resembling human typhoid fever has been induced by feeding live cultures of Salmonella typhosa to young chimpanzees, thus confirming the classical reports of Grünbaum and of Metchnikoff and Besredka.
