The improbability of continuing the traditional classroom during the pandemic Covid-19 caused an Unavoidable condition where blended learning was the most proper solution to conduct the learning process. This study intends to investigate how students view blended learning, particularly in English classrooms. The research's population is the eighth-grade students of MTS Fadhilah Pekanbaru with 93 students involved as the research samples. The instrument used to gain the data is a questionnaire consisting of 35 items divided into four aspects (behavioral, cognitive, emotional, and economic). The data were scored using a Likert scale with four options; Strongly Agree (SA), Agree (A), Disagree (D), and Strongly Disagree (SD). The findings showed that the students’ perception on blended learning was high level with an average score of 107.46. Owing to this, it can be determined that the students had positive perceptions when learning English through a blended learning method. They showed positive behaviors during blended learning where they always came to the lessons and submitted their assignments on time. Also, they believed blended learning allowed them to explore their potential and be more creative in the learning process.

Inovasi media pembelajaran yang menarik sangat memiliki dampak terhadap kualitas proses dan hasil pembelajaran. Upaya optimalisasi smartphone peserta didik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran yaitu dengan mengintegrasikan multimedia interaktif ke dalam Smartphone berbasis android. Pengembangan model 4-D yang memiliki empat tahapan utama, yaitu; define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui efektivitas penggunaan media pembelajaran game edukasi berbasis android terhadap hasil belajar. Jenis Penelitian penilitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau Research and Development (R&D) dengan media yang dikembangkan adalah media pembelajaran berupa aplikasi game edukasi berbasis android. Objek penelitian pengembangan ini yaitu peserta didik di SMAN 1 Cigemblong tepatnya kelas XI. Analisis data kuantitatif untuk menguji efektivitas produk media pembelajaran memakai Uji N-Gain score. Hasil pre-test dan post test menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan tingkat persentase sebesar 30%. Kemudian, hasil produk pengembangan media pembelajaran game edukasi berbasis android menurut N-Gain score senilai 0.73 dengan kategori tinggi. Hal ini dapat dikatakan bahwa produk tersebut cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dilihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test siswa

While in this study, the researchers focus on the analysis of contrastive, that is to contrast the types of indirect speech in English and Java language and to determine whether there are similarities and differences in the form or indirect speech types of the two languages (Maulina et al, 2022). Thus this research is still important to do by looking at the example above, the researchers found the difference between saying no directly in English and Javanese, namely in the use of the word form to be and auxiliary verbs.…”

This study discusses about Indirect speech in English and Javanese Language. The question in this research is what are the kind of indirect speech in English and Javanese, and also what are the similarities and differences in indirect sentences in the two languages. This study aims to find, explain categories and analyze indirect speech in English and Javanese in a contrasting. During the data collection of this research, the author asked 2 informants who could speak Javanese well and correctly. The gender of the informants who were asked were men and women aged around 20-40 years who had lived in East Java for 20-40 years. In the English data, the author takes several examples of Indirect Speech sentences from a book written. Then the writer collects all the data and identifies several sentences that have referred to an indirect speech in English and Javanese. Then the author describes the variations of Indirect Speech translated into English and Javanese and compared to find a similarity and some differences in Indirect Speech using the concept of Quick. The results in this study indicate that English has indirect speech likewise as Javanese language and has some similarities and a differences. In terms of similarities, English and Javanese have similarities in their types and shaped like an apostrophe, an interrogative sentence, a statement, command, exclamation and the sentence changes according to time and place. In contrast, English can turn into a verb to be and an auxiliary verb, while Javanese does not. Keywords: Indirect Speech, English and Javanese language, a Contrastive Analysis.
