Structure cristalline de la méloscandonine, C₂₀H₂₀N₂O₂: alcalöide duMelodinus scandensForst

Abstract

The alkaloid meloscandonine crystallizes in the orthorhombic system, space group P2~2~21, with a = 12-803 (5), b = 28.99 (1), c = 9.107 (3) /k, Z = 8. The structure was solved by direct methods and refined by least-squares procedures to a final R of 0.042 for 2542 independent reflexions collected using Cu K, radiation. H atoms were located and their parameters refined. The two independent molecules of the asymmetric unit are linked by hydrogen bonds.
