“…On the other hand, the increased polarity of the extraction solvent allowed to observe the increase in the number of signals for carbinolic and olefinic protons present in polyhydroxylated compounds in the region between 3.0 and 6.0 ppm and the decrease of the signals in the spectral region between 0.5 and 2.5 ppm of the methyl groups of nonpolar compounds (Figure 1). [15,18] These inferences were supported by the GC/MS data, in which there is the suggestion of terpenes in dichloromethane (Dcm) and ethanol (Eth) fractions ( Figure 2).
