“…MING and co-workers (2012) also prepared G. elata Bl polysaccharide mainly containing glucose molecules with (1→4)-α-D-glucan main chains that are occasionally branched with a-1,6 glycosidic linkages. G. elata Bl polysaccharides have many important biological activities, such as enhancing immunity, up-regulating protein expressions, disrupting pancreatic cancer cell growth, lowering fat levels, free radical scavenging, preventing hypertension, and protecting the retina (MIAO & SHEN, 2006;LIU et al, 2009;MING et al, 2012).
