“…It seemed that it had a Mn admixture, although the melting points of a pure Cd and its eutectics with Mn are very close—321.1 and 320°, respectively. [ 31e ] Besides, a similar effect was observed in previous work [ 31a ] during decomposition of Cd (CH 3 COO) 2 ·2H 2 O in He.…”

“…Thus, complexes 2 – 4 may be applied as precursors for ceramics on the basis of tetragonal cadmium manganite (III) spinel, and Cd to Mn substitution within the structure of predominant CdMn 2 O 4 phase yielding (Cd 1‐x Mn x )Mn 2 O 4 solid solutions is established. Considering already known functional systems based on of substituted spinels [ 31 ] (especially ones with substitution of Cd in A position [ 31d–g ] ), further investigation of properties of (Cd 1‐x Mn x )Mn 2 O 4 samples versus those of non‐substituted CdMn 2 O 4 is of a certain interest.…”

“…33 OMF composites were synthesized via a hydrothermal process (Scheme 1 (ref. 40)): (i) 5 mmol MnCl 2 ·4H 2 O and 10 mmol FeCl 3 ·6H 2 O were dissolved in 80 mL DW, and then mixed with a certain amount of OCN; (ii) after adjusting the reaction solution pH to 11.0 with 1 M NaOH, the mixture was transferred to a Teflon-lined autoclave, heated to 180 °C and maintained for 10 h. 1.0 wt%, 3.0 wt%, 5.0 wt%, 7.0 wt%, and 10.0 wt% of OCN in OMF composites were synthesized and marked as 1OMF, 3OMF, 5OMF, 7OMF, and 10OMF, respectively. Pure MnFe 2 O 4 was obtained via the parallel synthesis process without adding OCN.…”

“…However, nonmagnetic nanomaterials were difficult to separate from the solutions [23]. Compared with various traditional adsorbents, magnetic nanomaterials had the advantages of small size, large specific surface area, superparamagnetic properties, good adsorption performance, and easy recovery [24,25], and they could be separated from solutions under the action of a magnetic domain. Therefore, magnetic nanomaterials were employed for the removal of dyes.…”
