Structural and functional reorganization of contralateral hippocampus after temporal lobe epilepsy surgery

Abstract: Highlights Postoperative changes of contralateral hippocampus in temporal lobe epilepsy. No obvious hippocampal volume change was observed after successful surgery. Surgical manipulation may lead to a transient functional connectivity reduction. Increased functional connectivity mostly involved bilateral frontal regions.
