The main purpose of the study is to form a methodological approach to the management system of innovative activities at enterprises in the context of their economic development. To achieve this purpose, a methodical approach was formed containing a certain set of methods, the main of which is the methodology of functional modeling and graphic representation – IDEF0. As a result, the main decompositions of our model were presented with the proposed ways to improve the management system of innovative activities at the enterprise, taking into account the main goals of economic development. Our study was presented in the work of several companies in Eastern Europe to identify its effectiveness and convenience. The flexibility of the model makes it possible to effectively apply it in the practical activities of many enterprises. The originality of the research results implies the application of the existing methodology in a new area for it, namely in the management system of innovative activities and innovative development of the enterprise. The study has several limitations, which are primarily related to the fact that, due to the conditions of the pandemic, its practical application took place exclusively at Ukrainian enterprises.

The aim of this study is to establish an effective early intervention mechanism for
construction engineering to prevent electrocution while improving labor safety and
reducing the casualty risk. This study used narrative text analysis and the Haddon Matrix
for data collection, and analyzed the causes from the 113 electrocution deaths among in
the construction industry, the exhaustive chi-square automatic interaction detector
algorithm was employed the segmentation of the correlations. Based on the theory of
inventive problem solving, through IDEF0 (ICAM DEFinition) for function modeling was
designed the early intervention mechanism. This study revealed the operating features
related to electric shock hazards. Early intervention was introduced to reduce the
relevant risks and establish safety mechanisms. The first contribution of this study is
the determination of hazard correlations between operating features and conductive media,
and entry point for the prevention of electrocutions. The second contribution is the
suggestion of the establishment of inspection stations for electric tools, thereby
ensuring that the portable power tools are safe. The final contribution is the joint
application of TRIZ (Teoriya Resheniya Izobreatatelskikh Zadatch) and IDEF0, which
establishing the pre-entry testing, strengthening safety mechanisms.

This is a case study of cooperative development between a college and a corporation to manufacture a carton-filling machine. Specifically, a green cooperative development method was proposed that would match the college’s design capabilities with the manufacturing capacity of the enterprise. This college–enterprise cooperative development represents an extensive collaboration between industry and academia. This method integrates design for manufacturing (DFM) theory and the integrated computer aided manufacturing definition (IDEF) method to establish the IDEF0 (functional) model of manufacturing knowledge that supports the design process. The model clarifies the specific manufacturing knowledge that enterprises should provide at the conceptual design stage, preliminary design stage and detailed design stage. The forms of communication and timing of knowledge provision needed to optimize development planning and design decisions based on the manufacturing capacity of the enterprise were also determined. Through this method, the college–enterprise cooperative development project (in this case, involving a carton-filling machine) was accomplished with less time, fewer design modifications and fewer parts needing to be reworked. The results show that this method can greatly reduce the run-in period of both parties, improve the efficiency of cooperative development and reduce the cost and waste of prototyping.
