This research is motivated by the conflicts that often occur in women workers in the workplace. Facing conflicts experienced, every human being has their own way of dealing with it. One strategy in dealing with conflict is coping, which is the response of individuals to overcome problems. The purpose of this study was to determine the coping strategies of working women against work conflicts. This study uses a quantitative approach. Respondents in this study were 44 working women in a private tertiary institution in Indonesia. The instrument used in data collection uses the scale of problem focus coping, the scale of emotional focus coping, and the scale of a work conflict. The results showed that there was a significant effect of emotional focus coping on work conflict, but the effect of problem focus coping on work conflict was not significant.

Pandemi COVID-19 dapat menjadi penyebab stres pada seseorang karena harus melaksanakan segala aktivitas sehari-hari di rumah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis keterkaitan karakteristik responden dengan tingkat stres dan keterkaitan tingkat stres dengan strategi coping stress. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang digunakan adalah 529 dosen perempuan dan sampel sebanyak 85 dosen perempuan yang diambil dengan consecutive sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah DASS-42 dan The Way of Coping Scale. Data dianalisis menggunakan cross tabulation. Hasil penelitian ini adalah responden yang paling banyak mengalami stres adalah usia dewasa akhir dengan tingkat stres sedang (21,2%). Responden paling banyak memiliki tingkat pendidikan magister dengan tingkat stres sedang (36,5%). Responden paling banyak memiliki 2 anak dengan tingkat stres sedang (22,4%). Responden paling banyak memiliki anak usia balita dengan tingkat stres sedang (27,1%). Responden paling banyak bekerja >8 jam sehari dengan tingkat stres sedang (18,8%). Strategi coping stress yang paling banyak digunakan adalah problem focused coping dengan tingkat stres sedang (37,6%). Kesimpulan penelitian adalah dosen perempuan yang menjalankan WFH cenderung mengalami stres. Dua jenis strategi coping stress jika digunakan salah satunya telah dinilai mampu mengatasi stres, namun kombinasi penggunaan keduanya dinyatakan lebih efektif untuk mengatasi stres. Saran yang diberikan adalah responden dapat membuat jadwal yang diberi alarm di handphone, Universitas Jember melakukan skrining untuk mengetahui tingkat stres dosen.

A working mother is a great figure who is able to carry out many roles in her life, where she has to act as a wife as well as a mother at home and act as a worker at work. The amount of workload experienced by a mother can affect her subjective well-being. As a worker, the support of co-worker is very important because it can affect the life satisfaction of working mothers. This study aims to determine the relationship between co-worker support and subjective wellbeing of working mothers. The subjects in this study amounted to 95 people who have characteristics of a woman who is married and have children, work in the formal sector, and age range between 21 to 60 years. The data collection method in this study used two scales, namely the Subjective Well-Being Scale and the Coworker Social Support Scale. The data analysis technique in this study used the Spearman-rho correlation from Charles Spearman. The results of the data analysis showed that the correlation coefficient (rxy) of = 0.406 with p = 0,001. These results indicate that there is a significant positive relationship between coworker support and subjective well-being. This research is expected to provide an overview of subjective well-being in working mothers and its relationship with coworker support.
