“…Highest solasodine content during the study was -1 exhibited by S. nigrum 0.179 mg g (9.15 %) at 1% pectin followed , 2015). Enhancement of hypericin biosynthesis by elicitation using pectin has been reported in different Hypericum species (Yamaner et al, 2013;Gadzovska et al, 2015). The present results recommend the beneficial of pectin as an elicitor for S. incanum cell cultures for solasodine production.…”
