Abstract:Low-flow membrane oxygenation of donor blood stored for 3 days significantly increases the number of T cells (total and active populations) and stimulates the enzyme activity of neutrophils. Clinical trials (a purulent-septic abdominal disorder) show that membrane oxygenation of autologous blood is promising for the treatment of secondary immunodeficiency.
