Eine Ringinversionsbarriere von bisher nicht gekannter Höhe [Gl. (1)] verhindert, daß Lithiumionen auf beiden Seiten von 1 komplexiert werden können. Eine Kristallstrukturanalyse dieser Hexaspiroverbindung bestätigte, daß eine Cyclohexan‐Sesselkonformation eingenommen wird, in der alle sechs C‐O‐Bindungen äquatorial angeordnet sind (äq‐1).
