State-of-the-art mass spectrometry imaging applications in biomedical research

Abstract: Mass spectrometry imaging (MSI) has advanced from a niche technique to a widely applied spatial biology tool. This review highlights state-of-the-art MSI application in emerging and the six largest biomedical fields according to a set of criteria.
