Spray nozzles, working pressures and use of adjuvant in reduction of 2,4-D herbicide spray drift

Abstract: HIGHLIGHTS  Adjuvants must be used according to the nozzle model, application method, and spray mixture.  The empty cone nozzle with induction had the smallest increase the drift of 2,4-D with the pressure variation.  The conventional simple fan jet nozzle has a high potential to cause damage with the drift of 2,4-D.
