“…The profiles clearly show that lanthanum manganites can desorb different oxygen species at a temperature ranging from 90 to almost 900 • C. A small desorption due to very mobile oxygen species is observed from 90 to 350 • C for all the samples. Increasing the temperature, three main areas of oxygen loss can be distinguished, with onset desorption temperature at about 400-430 • C, 520-580 • C and 700 • C. As thoroughly discussed in many other works [30][31][32][33][34][35][36][37][38][39][40][41], these regions are generally referred to as being from the so-called ␣-and ␤-oxygen.
