Spitting Seeds From the Cud: A Review of an Endozoochory Exclusive to Ruminants

Abstract: Given their strong masticatory system and the powerful microbial digestion inside their complex guts, mammalian ruminants have been frequently considered seed predators rather than seed dispersers.
