“…Berdasarkan hasil analisis pada ke enam jurnal diketahui bahwa spiritualitas yang setiap lansia yang mengalami penyakit kronis berbeda-beda. Pada tiga penelitian yaitu Himawan (2019); Pratiwi et al (2018); Ganasegeran et al (2018), spiritualitas tertinggi yang dibutuhkan oleh lansia dengan penyakit kronis adalah keagamaan (religiosity) (94,23% dan 98%). Hal ini bisa dikarenakan responden dalam kedua penelitian tersebut adalah lansia penderita penyakit kronis yang tinggal di negara yang mayoritas penduduknya adalah beragama Islam sebesar (80%), sehingga hal tersebut lebih mengutamakan agama dan kedekatan dengan Tuhan-Nya di anggap menjadi sebuah kereligiusan seseorang pada saat mengalami suatu penderitaan serta adanya anggapan bahwa sesorang yang sudah berusia lanjut akan lebih dekat dengan kematian.…”
