“…As revealed above eosin Y is one of the important fluorescent ion pairing agent and spectrofluorimetric technique play an important role in the analysis of many pharmaceutical compounds and active current research area as a number of research articles and reviews published every year on this topic [102][103][104][105][106][107][108]. Spectrofluorimetry provides an extremely sensitive, selective and simple method for a variety of active pharmaceutical ingredients at a very low detection limits up to pictogram range [109].…”

“…[3] The NSAIDs exist in highly ionized forms in plasma and have the ability to bind with plasma proteins (>97 %), due to favora-almost invariably different from the original NSAID target. [4] The NSAIDs are classified according to their chemical structures into the following groups: (i) salicylic acid derivatives, (ii) aniline and p-aminophenol derivatives, (iii) pyrazolone derivatives, (iv) oxicams, (v) arylalkanoic acid derivatives, (vi) 2-arylpropionic acid derivatives, (vii) N-arylanthranilic acids, (viii) enolic acid derivatives, (ix) coxibs (selective COX-2 inhibitors), (x) naphthylbutanone derivatives, (xi) sulfonamides, and (xii) benzoxazocine derivatives. The study shows that the molecular weights of metal complexes containing the same NSAID are linearly related to their IC 50 values against MCF-7 cells.…”

“…1 Later, other oxicam derivatives including; tenoxicam (TXM, 4-hydroxy-2-methyl-N-(pyridine-2-yl)-2H-thieno [2,3-e]-1,2-thiazine-3-carboxamide-1,1-dioxide) and meloxicam (MXM, 4-hydroxy-2-methyl-N-(5methyl-2-thiazolyl)-2H-1,2-benzo-thiazine-3-carboxamide-1,1di-oxide) were widely prescribed as medication. 3,4 Bibliography data 3 indicate that only liquid chromatographic methods with UV 5 or MS detection 6 have been used for LXM determination. 2 Different official and non-official methods for analysis of oxicams (OXMs) were found in the literature.…”
