Dynamic resource supply is a complex issue to resolve in a cyber-physical system (CPS). In our previous work, a resource model called the dynamic resource supply model (DRSM) has been proposed to handle resources specification, management and allocation in CPS. In this paper, we are integrating the DRSM with service-oriented architecture and applying it to a smart grid (SG), one of the most complex CPS examples. We give the detailed design of the SG for electricity charging request and electricity allocation between plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) and DRSM through the Android system. In the design, we explain a mechanism for electricity consumption with data collection and re-allocation through ZigBee network. In this design, we verify the correctness of this resource model for expected electricity allocation.

To explore the distributed dispatching and scheduling algorithm of educational resources, based on the vector space model, the user and resource description model is built. In addition, the user interest representation method based on the background and tense vector space model (BTVSM) is proposed, and the distributed architecture based on the scheduling server is used to provide the personalized distribution service to the resource users. At the same time, the task scheduling model and algorithm are analyzed. The task scheduling optimization based on ant colony algorithm is mainly used in the scheduling server, and the simulation experiment is designed to verify the effectiveness of distributed dispatching and task scheduling algorithm for educational resources. The experimental results prove the validity of the application of distributed dispatching and scheduling algorithm based on VSM in specific systems, and it can effectively solve the allocation problem between the resource user group and the distributed dispatching center.

A Cyber-Physical System (CPS) is a complex research field with a plenty of challenges. The purpose of this paper is to handle all dynamic resource supply independent of the whole Cyber-Physical System using a new resource model proposed. In this resource model, two concepts will be introduced to describe the resources with both static and dynamic changing attributes. A special machine will act as the middleware to manage all resources and provide an interface between the resource supply modules to the CPS. This resource model will be integrated into a classical three-layer CPS with Service Oriented Architecture to illustrate the design and some related mechanisms.
