Statistical comparison of values yielded an r 2 -value = 0.99 and regression equation slope of 1.01 and intercept of 1.98 K. Note that in order to enhance the spatial resolution of the initial GDD map originally at 1-km resolution to 250-m resolution, a data fusion method was developed relating enhanced GDD to seasonally-averaged EVI [21]. Correlation between GDD and EVI was demonstrated to be fairly strong (r 2 = 0.87).…”
