The kinetic equation for axially channeled ultrarelativistic electrons in the energy range of 1 to 55 GeV for Si and W is solved. The results show that the dechanneling lengths for different targets are close. Yet, the Kumakhov radiation power in W is higher than in Si. Therefore, the Kumakhov radiation efficiency in heavy crystals, such as tungsten, can be very high. The present method permits to study the contribution provided t o the dechnnneling function by electron scattering, thermal vibrations, the density effect etc. It is shown that electron scattering provides the main contributions. The results can be useful in planning experiments on charged-particle radiation in channeling and in the data analysis, in particular in obtaining the optimal crystal thickness.
