Some Recent Developments in Hydrometallurgy

Abstract: The objectives of hydro metallurgy are to extract metals; to purify and concentrate metal bearing solutions; to recover metals; and to render waste streams acceptable for disposal to repositories and the environment. These aspects are discussed by way of examples of plants and processes which have beerl used or developed recently.
