Abstract:Several new pseudohalide derivatives of perfluoralkyl seienides have been prepared and characterized. Their properties are discussed in relation to the analogous alkyl and aryl selenides and perfluoralkyl sulphides. The trends in the properties of these compounds have been found to be in accordance with the expected influence of the strongly electron-withdrawing perfluoroalky I groups.
