Soliton dynamics in modulated Bessel photonic lattices

Abstract: We address the existence and the controlled stability of two-dimensional solitons in modulated Bessel lattices (MBL) induced by a superposition of nondiffracting Bessel beams. We show that variation of the modulation parameter of the lattice and the initial transverse momentum of the soliton significantly modify the behavior of the solitons.
