“…As shown in Figure 7(c), the FT-IR spectrums of flocs displayed characteristic peaks at 3,356 cm À1 attributing to -OH stretching caused by inner surface -OH in-phase and interlayer water -OH. The peaks at 1,100 cm À1 and 500 cm À1 are due to Si-O and Al-OH, the area around 800 cm À1 is due to Si-O-Si intertetrahedral bridging bonds in SiO 2 (Kumar & Lingfa 2020). In FT-IR of flocs, no new peaks appeared in addition to the original peaks of kaolin, Msp and MeMsp-24, which indicated that the flocculation was not caused by chemical reaction between kaolin and flocculants.…”

“…The influence factors of CA-Al-KABs' adsorption capacity towards CIP were systematically studied through batch adsorption experiments. The factors included the dosage of CA-Al-KABs (0.0 -0.1 g/50 mL), the initial pH of the solution (3)(4)(5)(6)(7)(8)(9)(10)(11), contact time (0-1440 min), temperature (288.15 K -308.15 K), initial concentration of CIP (20-140 mg/L), and different ionic strengths. In addition, the adsorption performance of CA-Al-KABs on different antibiotics was also studied.…”

“…In batch adsorption experiments, the optimal pH was obtained by evaluating the adsorption process at different pH (3)(4)(5)(6)(7)(8)(9)(10)(11). Further, CA-Al-KABs of different dosage (0.02, 0.04.…”
