“…However, successful incorporation of these social media apps in the design of pedagogical strategies concomitantly with curriculum and course design still needs to be appraised, for which an elaborate study needs to be strategized. One of the ways to strategize this study is to design a lesson plan using social media apps employing conventional instructional design strategies, such as that of Gagne and Peyton [85], followed by incorporation of these lesson plans into courses founded on Kern’s 6-step approach [86]; these courses can then be evaluated by established models of evaluation such as the Stake’s Congruence-Contingency Model [87]. Thus, the quality of these social media app–incorporated courses can be perfected using innovative quality assurance and quality-enhancement frameworks strategized according to the Deming cycle, customized to the ISO 9001:2000 standards in medical education [88].…”

“…Although there are no social work services (mental health, financial support, employment, housing, relationship with family, and child custody) in the screening process for visible addicts in Iran, these services have been addressed by different international guidelines (Lapham, ; Peters & Peyton, ). Historically, social workers offer essential services and improve public health for individuals suffering from substance abuse disorders (Raheb, Khaleghi, Moghanibashi‐Mansourieh, Farhoudian, & Teymouri, ; Wells, Kristman‐Valente, Peavy, & Jackson, ).…”

“…Furthermore, nearly 2.3 million adults who needed specialty substance abuse treatment did not receive it (SAMSHA, 2016). Because of the growing demand for substance use practitioners, many individuals in need of treatment are either on waiting lists or do not end up receiving appropriate services (Wilkey, 2013), despite the majority of social workers (75%) reported they had either previously worked with a client with substance use issues or were doing so currently (Wells, 2013).…”
