Social Support for People Living With Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome

Abstract: ABSTRACT:The aim of this study was to evaluate the social support for people with AIDS. It was a cross-sectional study, with 215 outpatients at a University Hospital in Northeastern Brazil. Data were collected from August to December 2012, through interviews, using a Socio-demographic and Clinical Form and a Social Support Scale for People Living with HIV/AIDS.
