In the Orde Baru era, event 65 did not have many places in national literature. However, in this era there are quite a lot of literature works that raise the issue of event 65, one of them is a novel Dari Dalam Kubur written by Soe Tjen Marching. This novel is interesting to learn because it raised the issue of event 65 that became the historic of the Indonesian. The novel is studied using a qualitative descriptive analysis method with the sociology of literature approach by Alan Swingewood. The focus of the discussion in this research is to describe the forms of seizing of the right to life experienced by women political prisoners in event 65. The results of the study show that the novel reflects the situation in Indonesia from pre-independence, post-independence, until the Orde Baru era. The researchers found 5 reflections seizing of the right to life of women political prisoners, that is (1) arrested, (2) intimidated, (3) tortured, (4) harassed and raped, and (5) killed. There is also the suffering of Djing Fei as a ex-tapol is (1) not accepted in society, (2) stamped ET on hers identity card, (3) forced to give birth to a child as a result of raped, (4) forced to change identity, (5) lost property, and (6) moved residences. This research can help readers to understand the novel by tracing intricacies of the lives of women political prisoners described by the author through the lives of the characters in the novel.

This study aims to the use of satirical language style in dakwah videos and its implications for the learning of the Indonesian language at school. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data analysis techniques. The data collection technique used in this study is the note-taking technique, namely observation, note-taking, and documentation. The research data was obtained from videos, preaching, and dialogue on the YouTube channel "Das'ad Latif." First, identify the style of satirical language used in the YouTube channel "Das'ad Latif." Second, noting the style of satirical language used in the YouTube channel “Das’ad Latif.” Third, analyze the results in depth to find accurate results. Fourth, enter the data into the analysis table. The da'wah video for the YouTube channel "Das'ad Latif" contains the use of satirical language styles, namely irony, cynicism, sarcasm, satire, and innuendo. The results of the research are 86 fragments of notes, which are the research subfocus. Irony was found in 14 passages, cynicism found in 24 passages, sarcasm found in 20 passages, satire found in 16 passages, and innuendo in 12 fragments in the period November and December 2022.

We live in a time of amazing and astounding achievements in scientific and artistic thought. More and more new technologies are being developed in various fields, including information. Today it has become a common occurrence, and no one is surprised by the breadth and variety of forms of information transmission, the main tool of which are nothing but signs. We often perceive the meaning of signs as directly as we see images, hear sounds, smells, etc., in science this is called semiotics – a theory that explores the system of signs. The purpose of the study was to study the application of the sign system in art, namely in the field of directing at the present stage. The leading method of research was structural-semiotic analysis, with the help of which modern cinema was analysed for the use of semiotic means in it. In the course of the research, it was found that semiotics is inextricably linked with art, since the creators of their works often use signs and hidden symbols in creativity, thus giving the recipient the opportunity to independently interpret what he saw or heard. The field of directing is also no exception, most of them are theatrical productions and cinematic works. In cinema, the system of signs has become widespread, and a set of certain symbols is a distinctive feature of some directors. The research contributes to the development of the problems of using sign systems in various fields of activity, which expresses its practical significance
