Resumen: Este artículo presenta, desde un enfoque teórico, la funcionalidad didáctica de los Entornos Virtuales de Aprendizaje (EVA) y los Recursos Educativos en Abierto (REA) en la Educación Superior. El tratamiento conjunto de ambas estrategias didácticas ha revelado en recientes investigaciones que el uso combinado de EVA y REA diseñados por los propios estudiantes mejora su competencia digital, principalmente en habilidades como: acceder y buscar información en la red, articular y encontrar información relevante, seleccionar los recursos de manera eficiente durante la navegación y crear estrategias personales con respecto al tratamiento de la información. Asimismo, algunos de los beneficios que produce el desarrollo de EVA y REA son: un modelo didáctico centrado en el alumno, el desarrollo de estrategias de gestión del conocimiento y la formación de un modelo autorregulado de aprendizaje. Abstract: This paper presents from a theoretical approach the didactic functionality of Personal Learning Environments (PLEs) and Open Educational Resources (OERs) in Higher Education. The combination of both didactic strategies in recent studies show that the joint use of PLEs and OERs designed by students improves their digital competence, mainly in capabilities such as: accessing and searching for online information; articulating information needs; finding relevant information; selecting resources effectively; navigating between online sources; and creating personal information strategies. Furthermore, the main benefits of the implementation of PLEs and OERs are: a student-centric approach, the development of personal knowledge management strategies and the formation of a self-regulated learning model.

Tóm tắt: Thật khó để tưởng tượng một thế giới không có mạng Internet do sự phổ biến và sức ảnh hưởng to lớn của nó. Tuy nhiên, nghiện Internet đã trở thành một mối lo thực sự, và còn được so sánh với các rối loạn gây nghiện khác. Sự thay đổi trong cấu trúc và các chất hoá học trong não do sử dụng Internet quá nhiều gây ra một mối lo ngại với các nhà nghiên cứu và giáo dục học đối với sự phát triển của những người trẻ. Bài nghiên cứu này thảo luận những ảnh hưởng của mạng Internet với thanh thiếu niên bằng cách phân tích ba khía cạnh cụ thể, bao gồm (1) việc tìm kiếm trên Internet, (2) chơi trò chơi điện tử, và (3) liên kết mạng xã hội. Dựa trên các bằng chứng của khoa học thần kinh, nghiên cứu này đi đến kết luận rằng mạng Internet chắc chắn là một công cụ hữu hiệu cho những người trẻ, với điều kiện nó được sử dụng một cách hợp lý dưới sự hướng dẫn sát sao của các nhà giáo dục.Từ khóa: Nghiện Internet, khoa học thần kinh, tìm kiếm trên Internet, trò chơi điện tử, mạng xã hội, thay đổi não bộ. Giới thiệu chung Mạng Internet đã và đang trở thành một phần không thể thiếu trong cuộc sống hàng ngày với một lượng dữ liệu khổng lồ và sự tiếp cậnvô cùng dễ dàng cho tất cả mọi người ở bất kỳ độ tuổi nào. Trong số đó, thanh thiếu niên là những người sử dụng Internet nhiều nhất. Vào năm 2010, nhóm thanh thiếu niên ở Mỹ sử dụng các thiết bị điện tử trung bình 8.5 tiếng một ngày, tăng 2 tiếng sau 4 năm. Một phần ba thời gian các em sử dụng nhiều hơn một thiết bị điện tử, dẫn tớitổng thời gian tiếp xúc với công nghệ là 11.5 tiếng một ngày [1]. Con số này đã tăng lên đáng kể và được dự đoán sẽ tiếp tục tăng do sự phát triển mạnh mẽ và phổ biến của công nghệ thông tin. Một số thuật ngữ được dùng để chỉ tới những người trẻ trong thời đại này, ví dụ như: "thế hệ kỹ thuật số, thế hệ Internet, thế hệ Google hoặc thế hệ thời đại mới" [2, trang 1]. Tất cả những thuật ngữ này đều nhấn mạnh tầm quan trọng và sự phổ biến của công nghệ mới và mạng Internent trong cuộc sống của những người trẻ. Greenfield (2014) định nghĩa "thế hệ kỹ thuật số" là thế hệ "không biết gì khác ngoài văn hoá Internet, máy tính xách tay và điện thoại di động" [3, trang 5]. Đối lập với thế hệ "dân bản địa" trong thời đại kỹ thuật sốlà những người "dân nhập cư", những người được sinh ra trước năm 1980 và vẫn đang học hỏi những tiềm năng khổng lồ của công nghệ. Hiện nay, giáo viên được coi là nhóm "dân nhập cư" còn sinh viên được coi là "dân bản địa" trong xã hội công nghệ hiện đại, những người không cùng chung một loại ngôn ngữ [4]. ICT sector is a powerful engine for growth and development of other sectors thus it gains the priority in all life dimensions from economics to social and has further impacted the cultural and political aspects. Social networks bring people together to share ideas, knowledge, and experience. Despite its popularity, Social networks can have positive and negative effects both on its users individually as well as their interactions with others collectively. Other factors analyzed include sustainability awareness and professional attitudes. The authors hope that this study will lead to emphasizing positive effects and reducing negative effects. A survey was published over the Internet and data were collected electronically and analyzed by SPSS using descriptive statistics and factor analysis. Over 750 participated in the survey divided about equally between male and female with the age of vast majority falling between 18-32 years and majoring in IT related fields. The study findings show that male and female young IT students' use of social networking and Internet is limited to rudimentary practices such as email and socialization. This reflected on the negative effects as well on social and physical development and away from the more serious issues of cognitive development and security.
