Social media has found its way into education and, together with team formation, has started to play a significant role in students' university progress. Previous research has tried to generally analyze and give predictions about the influence of social media on students' learning curve but was not concentrated on understanding students' behavior within teams and directly linking it to Belbin roles, which is crucial for forming teams. In this paper, we are working with real-life data extracted from official university channels will allow us to propose a methodology and a pilot Belbin role automation tool to look further into the specifics of the problem. In addition, linking this to team roles and behavior concerns within the project teams will open the horizon for further research on how the performance of students within the teams is affected. We propose to create a primary tool and framework for validating Belbin roles through real-life social network data. Results show that it is possible to identify Belbin's roles using natural language processing. The future work direction is to refine the words associated with every personality trait.

The swift development of technology has had a considerable effect on teaching, especially in foreign language classes, and the rising procedure of using creative technology to help teachers’ instruction and learning indicates the growing domination of technology in academic environments. In addition, teacher professional development significantly affects enhancing the teaching quality, especially the quality of educational activities within the class. Nevertheless, the shortage of workshops on professional development education made educators reliant on informal education where they worked and learned collectively with classmates in mini-groups to enhance their technology usage. The functions of technology-based instruction in the process of learning have not been taken into account in the professional development programs in the Chinese context so far, and consequently, this review takes a look at this issue. In a nutshell, this review of literature has suggestions for academics, theoreticians, and experts in search of inspecting the roles of technology in teacher professional development programs.

Over the past few years, online hashtags have gained tremendous fame mainly because of two reasons: first, as digital information trackers and second, as short and spontaneous communication tags. The present study aims to explore language factors in three types of Facebook hashtags, that is, long, short, and multiple mixed. It further investigates each factor’s role in online communication by performing an in-depth examination through activities and close-ended questions. First, it identifies factors through the writing activities where participants wrote different hashtags with their intention behind each hashtag. It follows interpretation activities in which other participants wrote their interpretations about the already written hashtags. Further, a 5-point Likert scale questionnaire was developed to note participants’ opinions about hashtags which were evaluated by the SPSS factor analysis test. Results of the study are divided into three sections and showed that lack of adequate vocabulary and lower casing is an important factor affecting digital communication in Pakistan. It is also suggested that teachers should play their part to improve informal writing and digital literacy in Pakistan.
