“…Saint-Amans is one of the most destructive and widely prevalent diseases occurring both on main and off-season crop in Himachal Pradesh. The disease occurs in epidemic proportion almost every year, as crop is grown around the year in different zones of Himachal Pradesh (Kapoor and Kumar, 1996;Banyal and Tyagi, 1997).
