Purpose. Development of a calculation technique that allows the Matlab software to determine the static and dynamic losses in power IGBTtransistors and reverse diodes.Methodology. Polynomial approximation of the energy dependences of IGBTtransistors using the least squares method. Sim ulation in Matlab/Simulink. Power loss calculation with MelcoSim 5.1.findings. The proposed calculation method allows the Matlab software to determine with sufficient accuracy the static and dynamic losses in power IGBTtransistors and reverse diodes for any type of semiconductor converter with any control law. The simulation confirms the accuracy of the proposed technique for calculating power losses in semiconductor converters. In addition, the presented method allows determining not only the power loss, but also the temperature of the power transistor to prevent it from failing. The results of the approximation of the characteristics of highvoltage power IGBTtransistors manufactured by Mitsubishi are presented.originality. The technique of simulation in Matlab/Simulink program for calculation of static and dynamic power losses in power IGBTtransistors, as well as power losses in reverse diodes is developed. The presented method allows determining power losses and efficiency in any semiconductor converter with any control algorithm, which is a very useful tool in research.Practical value. The presented technique in Matlab simulation allows determining power losses and temperature of power transistors of any type in the composition of any semiconductor converter.

У тягових електроприводах електрорухомого складу змінного струму використовуються діодні та тиристорні випрямлячі, які зумовлюють ряд недоліків. До таких недоліків відносяться значна емісія реактивної потужності та вищих гармонік струмів до контактної мережі, а також відсутність можливості реалізації рекуперації електроенергії до контактної мережі. В зв'язку з цим перспективним є застосування однофазних чотириквадрантних активних випрямлячів з корекцією коефіцієнта потужності. Перевагою цих перетворювачів є забезпечення коефіцієнта потужності близького до одиниці, реалізація синусоїдального вхідного струму, а також можливість реалізації рекуперації електроенергії до мережі живлення. У системах керування активними випрямлячами досить поширеними є системи керування з гістерезисною модуляцією. Проте гістерезисна модуляція зумовлює необхідність реалізації високої та змінної частоти комутації силових ключів, що негативно впливає на втрати потужності в перетворювачі. Тому запропоновано систему керування з покращеною гістерезисною модуляцією. За рахунок удосконаленого алгоритму комутації силових ключів запропонована покращена гістерезисна система керування дозволяє знизити число перемикань силових ключів. Це дозволяє знизити динамічні втрати потужності в активному випрямлячі, що дає змогу збільшити ККД електрорухомого складу в цілому. У програмі Matlab 2017b проведено імітаційне моделювання, що підтверджує ефективність запропонованого алгоритму модуляції. Крім того, під час реалізації запропонованого алгоритму комутації спостерігається покращення гармонічного складу вхідного струму. Підтверджено зниження амплітуд вищих гармонік вхідного струму та покращення результуючого коефіцієнта гармонічних спотворень Ключові слова: активний чотириквадрантний випрямляч, гістерезисна модуляція, динамічні втрати, енергоефективність, коефіцієнт потужності
