The technique of backhand topspin against backspin is important for table tennis players to gain more advantages in the confrontation. In this paper, a biomechanical analysis of backhand topspin against backspin was conducted with varsity and non-varsity male table tennis players from Zhejiang Changzheng Vocational and Technical College. The QUAL-ISYS infrared acquisition system collected the changes in the athletes' limb movements, and the force platform collected the changes in the athletes' limb moments in the ball striking process. The results showed that professionally trained athletes were able to achieve greater joint angles and provide greater torques to the shoulder, elbow and wrist joints at the moment of batting. The main purpose of this paper is to provide data reference for the improvement of backhand stroke technique by studying the pattern of limb movements of players when they perform backhand stroke. In summary, in order to improve the backhand technique of hitting backspin, athletes need to focus on training the shoulder, elbow and wrist joints to achieve greater variations of angles and greater torques. The novelty of this paper is collecting the body movements of backhand strokes in a more concise and fast way with the QUALISYS infrared acquisition system. Badminton Backcourt Stroke Route Planning Method Based on Deep Learning

In order to improve the planning ability of the badminton backcourt stroke line, this study designs a badminton backcourt stroke line planning method based on deep learning. Firstly, the trajectory adaptive learning method of motion primitives is used to design the hitting line nodes and path space, so as to construct the shortest distributed grid structure model of the hitting line. Then, the constraint parameters of hitting route planning are analyzed, and then the hitting position and player posture are controlled according to node positioning and shortest path optimization deployment. Finally, the adaptive optimization of the route planning process is realized by combining the deep learning method. The simulation results show that this method has good learning control ability and good convergence performance and improves the reliability of badminton backcourt hitting line planning.

Effect of Fatigue on Biomechanical Variable Changes in Overhead Badminton Jump Smash

Background. The badminton forehand overhead jump smash is one of the high speed and powerful motions among various racket sports. Objectives. The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of fatigue on the kinematic variable movement changes during overhead jump smash in badminton. Methods. This study is descriptive quantitative research with the pre-test and post-test design methods used to obtain data from 15 male badminton players, aged 19.4±1.6 years, height 1.73 ± 0.12 m, and weight 60.8 ± 3.7 kg. The study used three high-resolution handy-cams, motion software Frame DIAZ IV, and 14 point manual markers to analyze body segments' movement when carrying out a jump smash. Furthermore, an ergo treadmill was used to test the players' level by running. Results. The results showed that the shuttlecock velocity was faster during pre-fatigue (188 km/h) than under the condition (145 km/h). A significant difference showed in the angle of shoulder internal rotation (p=0.048) and wrist palmar flexion (p=0.037) at the instant of maximal shoulder external rotation phase. Furthermore, there were significant differences in the shoulder's internal angular velocity (p=0.042), elbow extension (p=0.035), forearm supination (p=0.024), and wrist Dorsi dorsiflexion.040). Conclusion. In conclusion, fatigue reduces players' performances during jumping smash in badminton, thereby leading to slower shuttlecock speed and changes in body segment movements.
